Telling the Church, Part II ... and Larry
Today, Executive Editor Larry Aldridge and I went to lunch and I shared my story with him. I also shared my plans to write about the journey. He, too, was most supportive. I then shared the situation with LifeTimes Editor Melanie Tucker and told her I would like her to write the news stories that we would be doing on HCV. Again, the same response: unwavering support.
Dr. Scott's question, and my reply, continue to resurface:
"Do you think there will ever be a time when your life will quiet down to the point where you will be able to do this treatment?"
"As a matter of fact, yes," I replied, then told him about the 900 sick hours I had built up at The Daily Times and the wonderful community of faith at Green Meadow.
I also shared that I would be writing about it ... and he, too, was greatly supportive.
What can I say?
Kairos time ...
Grace and peace ...
