Telling the church ...
I met with Ron Matthews today, my district superintendent. We had lunch and I told him where I stood with Hepatitis C.
It was a good meeting where we shared a number of things, including how I felt the need to step back from things that were not a priority. In the church, that means things other than personal and corporate worship.
I also met with the lay equipping group, advising them of the same. The group could not have been more supportive.
I see this as kairos ... God's timing. Green Meadow is moving toward a healthy church in terms of leadership and focus. As recently as a year or so ago, when Scott told me treatment should be considered, that was not the case.
So many things seem to be falling into place. I can not help but believe this is kairos.
Grace and peace ...

Hi, Buzz- I heard about that you had an internet column and so I browsed around til I found it. I felt like I was sitting at Green Meadow listening to your sermon and I got really homesick. I wish matthew could call up a father like you one day, but that is a pipe dream. at least I can teach him about JC the ultimate friend. I havent read all of your work but now that I know how to find your work I plan to catch up. I miss you, your sister in Christ, Dorothea
