Beginning of Week 2: The Day After Shot Night
- We used the Redipen, a self-contained mixing and injection system. Amy said I should know that the Redipen takes a little more pressure to inject thant he standard syringe. This is important because there may come a time when I have to self-inject. So, we're going to keep that in mind and will probably have the pharmacist order the standard syringe system next time. At some point (heavy sigh) I'll have to learn how in case she's not around.
- I did not take the Tylenol PM (actually, the generic equivalent) before the 8 p.m. shot, but rather took it before going to bed about two hours later. We did this with hope that it will stay in my system longer, perhaps allowing me to sleep through the chills this time. It worked. I still ache a little this morning, but not nearly as much as I did last week. I am, however, spacey today. -- and I would appreciate no jokes about that being a normal part of my behavior.:)
I get the CBC/liver panel done on Wednesday. I pray my enzymes are moving toward normal and the blood count is good.
Praying for another good week.
Grace and peace ...
