Missed another dose ...
I was certain I took those pills!
When I went to my pill container this morning I discovered Sunday night's Ribivarin still in the container.
I've been at my mom's house over the weekend and my pill container has remained in my backpack the entire weekend, which is how I missed the dose. During the work week, I have my Palm Pilot set to remind me by alarm at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. and the pill container stays in the briefcase. Over the weekend, the alert stays the same, but I leave the pill container on the kitchen counter where I can see it, which also helps to remind me.
This weekend I have been at my mother's house with friends and family and the pill container stayed in my backpack. I cut the Palm Pilot alert off because it awakened Donna one morning. Still, I distinctly remember going upstairs to take the pills Sunday evening after Nurse Bill gave me my PEGIntron shot, but it appears I may have gone upstairs, but I didn't take the pills.
No use crying over spilled milk, but it sure stresses me out to miss a dose. I've only missed one other one and I was told by Nurse Roxanne and the Be Right nurse to just move on, that it was not as critical as if I missed the PEGIntron shot. I pray the same holds true for missing a second time in 20-plus weeks.
I get my CBC, etc., blood work done this week; my viral load checked in about three weeks. Guess all of that will tell me what's happening.
Grace and peace ...
