Week 34: 24 hours after shot, a fairly lousy night
Well, this week, I finally did my own PEGIntron shot using Redipen. It was in my left arm, so Nurse Amy did the pinch while I injected. Last week, I only did the mixing procedure; next week, I will be soloing at Ripshin.
Meanwhile, it's plumb amazin' how the only consistency in the timing of after-effects (and even the breadth of possibilities) with PEGIntron is a lack of consistency. I can see how people get extremely frustrated.
One week, everything is fine; the next week, you can have one lousy day, or two lousy days. If it's a really a stellar week, even the third day can be a little funky.
This week, I felt relatively fine Monday morning, the day after my shot. But by about 3 p.m. Monday, I was starting to drag; by 5 p.m., I headed home. By 7 p.m., I was chillin' ... and not in a good way. I finally hit the bed around 9 p.m. or so. I'm not even sure what time it was. I chilled for a while, then started getting hot. I noticed the air hadn't kicked on, so I tripped it, took a couple of benadryls and hit the bed.
Today, I feel a little flu-like, but nothing like Monday afternoon.
Oh, by the way: I finally got my archive fixed, though I wish it would show the "Titles" rather than the day.
Grace and peace,
Buzz
